Another inquiry from a new member

As a new member I am trying to figure out the best use for a signature. Can somone tell me the best use for a signature. It seems most people are using it place a quote or disclaimer. BTW I am unsure what these disclaimers seem to be for? the person stating said (Members Name) is a fictional character and all post are fictional and or for entertainment purposes. I this necessary at all? Could maybe someone give me some ideas for a signature?

Ive always thought that the disclaimer is there for those members who are just playing a fictional game

But really though, i suppose due to the nature of this forum, some members like to have it there for safety purpose/precuations.

What you put there is up to you, if you feel safe with a disclaimer, put on there, if there is a song that you really like, link it in your sig, or a quote or........ nothing

A signature is not required.

If you choose to do one, I would suggest you do one that appeals to you - that reflects something of who you are or what you believe.

Some people who are very worried or even paranoid, use that space to post additional disclaimers. Things like, I am just an author who likes to write and fantasize and think about transpersonal issues. Thus, all of my trip reports are fictional and my comments are not based on experience. If I was paranoid, that kind of statement might make me feel I had an extra layer of protection.
