Aphrodisiacs for Women?

I was wondering if anyone here has had any personal experience with herbal aphrodisiacs that increase a woman's desire for sex as well as lubrication. I'm doing my research, but... I also value others' experience – particularly if they are female.

Having looked into this myself years ago, I don't think there's any substance that just works in general. Some may help a specific woman. Which ones may or may not will depend on the specific causes for that woman's lower desire.

On the long term, if it's being an issue, I think the best route is to look for the root causes of it (if she wants to) and address them.

Menopause, basically. There are, of course, other issues at play as well... but, I have a few ideas for herbal concoctions. If anything works, I'll report back.

I didn't research this issue that much, but I do know that plants high in phytoestrogens can help menopause in general. There are soy isoflavone supplements that seem to help up to a point. Also look into fenugreek and red clover.

Maybe this is a bit weird, but there are some forums where women discuss supplementation for breast growth. They have some protocols etc. I personally doubt they work much for their intended goal, but they could be effective in regulating hormones. It could be a source of good info plus anecdata.

Finally, for issues of an interpersonal nature, I can't recommend enough a joint MDMA session. You may already be experienced with that, but if not, give it a try. Being able to communicate in a totally free, understanding, and honest way for a few hours does wonders for a relationship.

For the average case, shouldn't it be the opposite? Post-menopausal women have less estrogen, and inhibiting aromatase further suppresses estrogen levels. Thus making symptoms worse. Most supplements for post menopause (without cancer) are phytoestrogens or promote estrogen levels.

As noted, to the extent that any drug will consistently evoke sexual desire under all conditions that's probably not a good thing (John McAfee and his cathinones, etc.). That said, mesembrine has anxiolytic effects and intensifies physical pleasure. It has long history of use as a sex drug, both traditionally in South Africa and with modern extracts, and people sometimes liken the experience to a low dose of MDMA. I don't think that's the most important benefit of the drug, which also causes longer-term mood elevation, but it's definitely there.

Mesembrine is currently legal in most jurisdictions, and standardized extracts are sold openly. Dried and powdered Sceletium tortuosum is also sold, but the material I've bought has all been very low quality. The plant is easily grown and yields well under hydroponic conditions similar to cannabis, lots of details in my comment history.

I was remembering that on the purely aphrodisiac side, Damiana has good reputation. I ignore if it's well-deserved reputation or not, but it may be worth looking into it.
There's also the option of something dis-inhibiting like GHB, but it's clearly not a supplement and its risk profile must be well evaluated before taking any decisions in that sense.

I was reading about hoja de coca yesterday, and how it was included in the alcoholic beverage that preceded the creation of Coca-cola. Unfortunately, I don't live in South America; I like your recipe, and I may substitute coca with damiana, and see how it goes...

I can attest that GHB is an aphrodisiac for women, men as well. As said, there would be health issues with habitual use.

Also atnthe same time its normal to chew tobacco paste or drink pinneapple wine but personally it have high risk to create a second metabolite called cocaethylene ... It can do pain to your liver and with long term use can cause many diseases
