Art Bin

Migrated topic.
Incredible face treatment! You really know how to capture that I've-fallen-on-some-DMT-and-I-can't-get-up feeling.

Pup Tentacle, your work always takes me to a nice place, it feels so warm and soft

Art...I've definitely felt like that some days.

Here's one I've been working on.
Edit: Meh, lost a lot of detail in the preview..

Nice job, Wax.

It's always easy enough to click on the file and open it on one's desktop, but yes, the image degradation on the page view itself blows like the proverbial wind.

Made these on my iPhone 3GS using juxtaposer, blender, synapses, another app. Some if the source material I took with 3GS. Like Frankenstein guy was back of a guys convertible.

A great finish. The monumental angle of the face really works well with the hair and headdress draping over the face tattoos. Very over-the-top but it works- some potent stuff here.

Curious to see what comes next!

I'm committed to starting a full back tattoo next month which I intend to zBrush together. I'll post my attempts.

What I want to know Art, is where I can get one of those bronze looped, multiheaded penis holder gadgets. Tired of the thing floppin' about, and your red angry troll dude seems to have a good - and fashionable - solution.

Easy as sending the files to a 3D printer and casting in whatever materials you'd like. I'm happy to make the entire outfit for you jbark, if you're man enough to wear it out in public.

Guy - I've never heard of anyone using ZBrush for this purpose before, but it seems to me that it could be immensely helpful for someone like you to work out new ideas. You would just need to sculpt a few different male and female body type models, and then you could use them over and over again as stock blank tattoo canvases.

Wow Guyo, looks like Android on drugs....or maybe sober?? 😁

Wow! I'm continually blown away by Nexus members creativity and dedication! Art, that is wicked. I've got a long way to go, but I've truly been bitten by the bug. A year ago I journeyed through hyperspace for the first time. A few months later I found myself doodling in photoshop fir hours at a time. It reminds me of Richard Dryfuss in Close Encounters. It's like my subconscious directed me to express these unexplainable experiences via the visual medium. Words can never do it justice in my experience. Everything I create ends up looking very psychedelic and I'm convinced this is the reason why.

Anyway, I'm so obsessed with this thing that I've taken to using my iPhone when I'm on the move. These are a few from the past couple of days. Some of the material I photographed with iPhone camera.

Ray Tracer, those are neat. Good skills for only seriously pursuing it a year.

Art, I've known people who've used a program called Poser for that purpose. I also know a guy who is doing a lot of his design work in PS Extended, which has some 3D capability. I've seen him demonstrate his workflow and it's impressive.

I'll be using zBrush to create a backpiece design next month. It needs to fill the back but at the same time appear to be happening inside the back with some elements extending outside the body's volume. I'll be starting with a map of the back marked out on tracing paper and then building the model out from there. Very excited to be taking this plunge!

Art, it looks like Joe Rogan if he literally just smoalked some! And nice work with that godlike man beast, you're clearly developing your level of detail now.

Guyo, thanks for reminding me about Ruiz!

*Edit* Nope, totally wrong about where I found out about his and your stuff.

Those colors are absurdly, ridiculously cool! The way pieces of your tesselations change colors when they overlap sections reminds me of how pieces of hyperdimensional geometry glows neon when they are "aligned" and "in-phase" with me.
