Interesting, thought provoking Scientific American article, worth a read.

'Is Consciousness Universal?'

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the article thank you ever so much for sharing it... I found the logical and analytical perspective to be extremely refreshing.

Much Peace and Compassion

We are conscious so everything is. There is no difference between perceived and perceiver. How could coucioucness observe non concioucness ?

Fascinating topic! The hard question, "How can something as unconscious as matter give rise to something as immaterial as consciousness?" Emergent v non-local? Although informative, this article strays not a jot from the "emergent" theory. Matter integrated such that...consciousness arises. Qualia addressed as, "crystals in a fantastically high-dimensional qualia space", referencing a particular brain state. Interesting, if indeed this refers to apperception of non-local, immaterial informing of the integrated matter...brain/mind. Hard to grasp the gist.

Peace

I really think the question of consciousness is liquidated by itself. There is a certain foundation, and innumerable forms manifest upon it. We are irridiated by countless frequencies of light, and some of them are arguably yet undetectable by science.

Not saying I understand everything this guy is saying but only that I'm pretty sure this dude is on to something and look him up..

Also look at his double-torus theory about the earth and energiac fields
