When Ive come down and tried another toke Ive always just got the Joyous feeling but IME the colors are always fuzzy, like smeared together almost a water color effect.
The other day I had what was ramping up to be a super trip, when something threw me off, I opened my eyes and "lost" the vision so-to-speak. I was quite disappointed, and knew that smoking more DMT would not get me back to the same place, but I tried regardless. I too found myself just immersed in a collage of patterns, but I wasn't getting that narrative back. I was upset that I had messed it up for myself and welled up with a sort of serene sadness. The patterns (my environment) seemed to look on me with a sort of pity or sympathy or something and this big sob just sort of bubbled up out of me as they swelled in for a loving embrace. I decided to let another sob out and again received and influx of joy. Before long I couldn't tell if I was crying or laughing, and I didn't really care which.
At that point things had started to shift and there were these shiny golden coins raining down on me. I tilted my head back and saw the "bird" part of hyperspace (as if they make their home at the top of the "hyperspace castle". Despite not being able to re-achieve the same intensity or anything like that, it was still quite enjoyable. Sometimes indeed much less than that happens. On other occasions I've been blessed with quite the surprises of super-satisfactory experiences, and then the last time I did that, it actually amounted to the hands down creepiest DMT experience of my life, so it's really a mixed bag.
