Bass Music

I mostly listen to my music on headphones as there is a family boycott on most of the tunes that i like, so i dont really get to appreciate the bass in some of the songs i hear. I love this tune and i managed to listen to it on my own in the car this morning while i was on my way to buy a quiche and it bassed me...DJRUM BLUE VIOLET and funnily enough this other tune was next on the compilation cd that i had prepared.

Usually when people say bass music they mean more breaks/dubstep/glitch? Is that what you meant? Or were you just referring to music with sexy bass..

Circuit Bent do absolutely amazing stuff with their bass.. from electro, to breaks to psy etc

This ones a favourite .. very cool bush doof funk/electro style.. one of my fav breakdowns ever.. gets so warped

Huge progressive tune

..

This Kari remix of an Electrypnose has some real cool simple bass phrasing .. (love the little wop wops around 2 mins onwards)

Does this count? Pretty awesome either way (robust language advisory!)
This is so good! Such a cool chemistry between those two dudes.. I love how they're so casually discussing the different aspects of genres, what makes what etc and then suddenly your on your ass immersed in this awesome jam that didn't even do you the courtesy to let you know it had started.. but your just in it.. and it keeps escalating in awesomeness

😂

Some pretty nice progressive..

Love the sophistication of this guy's call and response motifs.. that section at 4:25 .. so hypnotic and eloquently simple.. and then 5:35 is pure LSD vibes. He's a great example of the Zenon records Australian bush progressive sound.. def a label worth checking out if your interested in bass and just really state of the art sound design

Been really nerding out on Slip hypnotic's tunes lately as you can tell 🙃

Here's another good one.. one of my all time favourite trance tunes. The massive square wave reverb stab is pretty delicious

That's a sexy sexy bass line <3
That thing drove me pretty high 10 years ago, so many times; on 2ci/p, lsd or shrooms with my friends...
Hope you'll like it :D

The substance heavily influences the selection, but bass is dear to my heart. Kalya Scintilla and friends on Merkaba Music Label, as mentioned by @cultiVeight , are some of my favorites for LSD and psilocybin adventures. Happy to see you call them out :D
I tend to favor a little tamer and calmer flavor for DMT.

Here are some of my favorite albums for more "kinetic" entheogens, like LSD/psilocybin/MDMA:
Peace Luv and Wubz by LSDREAM
Balance by Liquid Stranger
Codex VI by Shpongle
I’m the Supervisor by Infected Mushroom
Breath Reimagined vol 3 by Desert Dwellers and Friends
Rainbow Brain by Griz
Moonflavours II by Freddy Todd
Bugs for Breakfast by Toadface
Everything New Was Old by Yheti
Gateways of Consciousness by Kaminanda
Syzergy by Opiuo
Chasing the Golden Hour vol 4 by Griz

Man I could go on for ages hahaha… I’ll probably edit back and add a few more. Thanks for a great thread 😁

I’ll make a second reply with my favs for traveling with DMT/“non-kinetic” entheogens 🤍

Great stuff.

Vincent Antone - Respect
Kill The Noise - Afraid of the Dark
Alan Walker - Sing Me To Sleep (Marshmello Remix)
LSDREAM, Xotix, Ruby Chase - ELASTIC
Teminite & Skybreak - Accelerate
ABBA - Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (Glitch Remix)
Vanic - Somewhere Better (ft. Lowell)
Nickelback - How You Remind Me (The Living Proof Remix)
Franky Nuts - Turn Up The Music (feat. Nika D & Katie Sky)

Another funky thing, I was listening to music that was once made by our "band" and found this bass gem in it (check the attachment).

It's an ambient song that was made for a space game, and due to using the full dynamic range the bass in this one is quite insane (before you listen please up your volume a lot since the full song is quite low in volume due to having, and thus using, that extreme dynamic range :)).

Kind regards,

The Traveler

@CosmicLion told me about having been to a concert of Ott where the actual highlight of the event for him was "Mindex".

So I looked it up and it's pretty cool, also with the bass:

Kind regards,

The Traveler
I love Mindex!!!! He was hard to catch here in the states, but has been playing more shows lately. We saw him live at Sol fest in Alabama last year. His album Intergalactic Kung Fusion is a lot of fun. Excited to watch the set you linked :D

nice taste krylon! saw vincent antone play a couple weeks ago they're really good

IMO tribal stuff is perfect for tryptamines. but L is perfect for getting up and wiggling to weird wobbles 👀 especially with a subwoofer

Yoko - DDD Mix

Gonna check out Breger more, thanks.
There is so much hard style going on lately it's so good for having minimal techno with a strong bass line.
Was on an all night of it recently, the place was on fire.
