STB with S.H and pulled with various solevants.
V&m, lab grade heptane. Even a small learning curve with xylene and vinegar.
I've learned for cost effectiveness when doing bigger batches pulling with v&M then re basification and doing a heptane freeze to clean up seems to work best.
I then found a few research papers that claimed a method that returns a 3.47% yield. acid soak defatting before basification along with ultrasonic baths and a rotary evaporation to speed things up
Now I'm not purchasing a rotary evaporator but I do happen to have a nice ultrasonic cleaner and a simple 500ml/250ml distillation apparatus was cheap.
Figuratively the same as a rotary evaporator given I don't cook any of the product to the bottom of the boiler with high heat right.
So constipating the solevants before freeze percipitat is a game changer. A batch of 200 grams mhrb all into a 150 ml of solevants brought back almost 5g of powdered DMT. And this was my first running with the newly acquired method.
Now Ive had mixed results over all the methods and even same method different batches as far as final color.
Some even being almost nasuating to smoke freebase in a rig/banger set up.
Question is. Is that the nature of smoking it this way or will another purification ease up the harsh/nasuating effect from smoking it straight.?
