Rising Star
Hey everyone. I am in the process of brewing 3 of 4 washes of chacruna and b. Caapi. I am worried because each wash I start off with 2.5 liters and end up with about 2 liters. On the 4th wash I am going to combine all liquids which should be about 6 liters. The problem is I don't have all day to reduce! I can get it done if I boil but I have heard boiling is not what you want to do, only a simmer with little bubbling, which is what I have been doing. Is it really that big a deal if boil it down during reduction? I'm not talking a heavy boil either, just light enough for it to get the job done in 2-3 hours.
