Boost PH Lvel

Hello, swim has a base mix with a PH of 11.5 what does he do to boost level upto 12? TIA

Add lye.

If it has little buffer capacity [not much plant stuff or ammonium salts] it probably wont take much at all. If your base up to now was ammonia and much of that was neutralized it'll take more, as the ammonium salts will buffer the lye.
