Ok, so before i get into my extraction procedure, what tek's i followed or combined.... I would like to ask if what i tried extracting was in fact a MH! I know, i probably should have asked pre-extraction, but due to the hours of research i have done regarding the acacia and the MH, i believe/believed the tree i found to be the MH. but due to an unsuccessful extraction i have finally created an account on what i have used as my bible, the nexus, to determine what I have collected from! :-D BTW this tree is on my property in Maui, so im not just cruising around looking for nature to destroy!!!
Ok, so please take a look at my pics and help me out! TIA!

Its kind of hard to see the flowers, they appeared to be pale yellow/whit, or straight up yellow.

Here is another tree next to it that also appears to have the mimosa leaves, but i believe this is a Leucaena leucocephala

one other shrub/growth i noticed was this, growing from the rocks. I also believe this may be a Leucaena leucocephala but im not quite sure, as this seems to be a ground plant rather than a tree?

that most definitely is the tree, and what i thought was mimosa hostilis... LOL that explains why my extract was a complete fail! all that was left in the glass plate was a gooey sludge instead of spice! Thank you so much for your knowledge! now i feel pretty foolish for trying to extract it! at least now i know i found a great tree for firewood/BBQ and hopefully people will be able to use this thread for their knowledge when they find this tree!
Ive just spent a good amount of time researching the tree and have found that it does not have any psychoactive properties that i have been able to find... bummer b/c i just used the tek for MHRB and am now back on the search for a proper plant/tree to use for extraction. I wont bother posting my extraction pics, b/c obviously it was non yielding, unless the sludge i extracted has any sort of use. I suppose i could just buy some MHRB online, but due to the complex nature of DMT i would feel better if i was able to collect and extract first hand! I personally feel that searching, finding, collecting, and extracting the material first hand would be a much more naturalist approach, providing a much more personal and profound experience. off hand does anyone know of any abundant or easily accessible plants on maui that i may be able to use for extraction of spice, besides the formosa koa root bark?

nen,
after reading through the acacia thread, specifically the page with your post, post #251, I have been left with a few questions.
So from the two pictures you have provided here i would say that the Prosopis palladia is what i am in fact working with. But after reading your post in the acacia thread, i noticed you didn't mention anything specific about the Prosopis palladia, as far as the contents of any tryptamine, nmt, serotonin, etc. Have any extractions been attempted as of yet? If not i would be glad to assist in this extraction! I can offer this. I have completed a STB extraction with the root bark, and can post up what i have experienced through this extraction. Due to the goey material left from the extraction, im kind of thinking that the STB is not the most proper extraction method?
Sorry my thoughts right now are jumbled up I still have quite a few questions, but will wait so as not to bounce all over the place and make any answers confusing. Starting with the basic questions will undoubtedly answer some of my other questions, as well as possibly provide me with enough insight to return some information i might be find out on my end!
