Brazilian vs Mexican MHRB, what are the differences if any?

what are the differences in yield, or effects if there are any for those who have tried both?

there the same plant ...... the same ...

If it's mrxico or brazill ...some is good some is not as good deppending on weather time of year or time of day , age of trees , and a thousand other factors ...

How do you know they are the same though? I have been under the impression for many years that it’s possible some bark for instance could be mimosa verrucosa, as it is also used as “Jurema”…but I can’t back that up at all.

Even still, it’s not uncommon for plants from different regions to express different alkaloid profiles/ratios.

They come from the same species but have differences based on growing in different environments.

Mexico and Brazil are huge and have very different environments within them, too.
It's likely that not much can be said about the topic in general without knowing the specific areas the bark is coming from.

Sounds like topic for a Master's or Doctoral thesis... go to Mexico, go to Brazil... collect samples, note differences in climate and tree morphology... talk with the locals, see what they have to say... go back to the lab and run the requisite tests....

I’ve tried both Brazilian and Mexican MHRB, their the same plant just different regions, my Mexican one had higher yield but you really can’t determine if either or has higher % without trials

In Brazil a lot of it grows in the arid scrub land of the NE, where there is no rain at all for 6-11 months a year, so whether it was harvested in the short rainy season or the long dry season can make a difference.
Australian acacias are known to be more potent when harvested after a dry period.

It's actually native all the way from Brazil to Mexico, including Colombia, Venezuela and Central America.
I've had Costa Rican MHRB in an Ayahuasca brew (with B. caapi) that was served to me in CR, and all I can say is that it was a good brew.
