Bufotenine iso extraction tek?

I was wondering about the solubility of bufotenine in isopropyl alcohol and if anybody has ever had success with it.
I know that everclear is not legal in my province, so thats out of the question.
The highest concentrated iso I can obtain is 99%.

In theory, I want to crush my toasted seeds into a fine powder, put the powder in freshly washed women's pantyhose or a freshly washed durag, tie it up and let it sit for a week or so in iso until the liquid changes color (indicating a successful extraction) and see what I get from evaporation.

Some say it results in a sticky goo, some say you get wonderful crystals, others say it will be a waste and I will get nothing.

Im n a hurry to go to work right now so I cant finish this post, but the bottom line is:

HAS ANYBODY TRIED THIS AND WILL IT WORK?

Any info would be appreciated and heeded.

i have never done this before, but reading through this tek in the wiki i would assume you will pick up a lot of unwanted stuff if you have the seeds sitting in IPA for a long time.

with quick pulls you do not pick up so much unwanted stuff
 
I guess that between steps 7 and 8 you could dry the vinegar and pull with IPA. Bufotenine salt may/should stay with the seeds while you remove the unwanted stuff. Then rehydrate and follow the remaining steps in the tek: lightly base to the isolectric point of bufotenine, dry and pull with IPA.

Vinegar!? For real? What does the vinegar do? The whole vinegar is new to me. I will read this tek.
 
The vinegar changes the tail of bufotenine so it becomes soluble in water. This allows to separate the bufotenine (along with other water soluble stuff) from the bulk solids during the filtation step in the TEK. This may help get a cleaner product if the bulk solids have stuff that would be soluble in IPA in subsequent steps.

Hi folks, i have tried the Bufotenine IPA Extraction with no success i think.

In the Step 8, after adding the sodium carbonate and evaporating i ended up with this (not powder as is supposed)

I did an IPA extraction over this and this is what i got (it is still sticky and not powder)
