Hello to everyone. I did 2x3-4 hours of boiling Syrian Rue seeds using distilled water+absorbic acid (Vitamin C). During the 3d boiling i managed to burn the seeds. I left the pot on the stove for longer than was nescessary and when i came to check the seeds had sucked up all the water and were black. I have heard that during the first 2 boils about 85% of the goodies is extracted into the liquid.
What do you think, am i fairly ok using the liquid after reducing it so that 1 ml of liquid equals ~1 gram of seed? (And perhaps using a little bit more because of the partial loss of alkaloids since i did not complete the boils)? Thank you for any answers.
