Botany Bursera collection

I'm not a gardener per se—I haven't had a physical garden since I left my previous house—but since then, I've come to learn the geographical distribution of several Bursera species. These are tree species used as palo santo, copal, and in traditional indigenous medicine. Many grow wild near Colombia's canyons, while others are systematically planted as living fences. I’ve collected resins and wood, and taken a few cuttings. Some notable Bursera species include Bursera graveolens, simaruba, copal, and sacra, among others. I'm doing everything I can to collect as many species as possible to preserve their germplasm."
