caapi first, or both brews at the same time?

I will be brewing ayahuasca for my first time and have been doing my research. I plan on brewing 100g of yellow caapi in one tea and drinking half for a 50g dose (and have more if I need it) and 6g of MHRB and drinking half for a 3G dose.

My question is, can I drink both brews in quick succession? Or is it ideal to drink and hold down the caapi for a while before the MHRB brew? All answers are appreciated ,
