Caapi / Rue Extraction and IPA or Acetone?

HELLO!!!! I once read someone here write something about using isopropyl alcohol for caapi extraction, but I can't find the post, or anything in the wiki about ipa harmala extraction. So, I was wondering if anyone has any info on this kind of tek. What if you just mixed a bunch of ipa with crushed caapi bark or rue, let it sit for a few days, poured off the ipa and let it evaporate? Would this result in an oily residue of alkaloids? Or for that matter, acetone instead of ipa? Regular store bought acetone.

why not? swim thinks you would obtain an almost full-range extract, probably sticky if you evaporate it dry,i think you could dry the solvent out and than add some etanol and do a nice extrapotent tincture,so if you know your average dose of caapi, you could calculate ml/dose
if you start with caapi for 20 doses you could redissolve your extract into 20 or 40 ml of alcool, swim thinks tincture it's very cool and convenient

harmalas in freebase form are not very soluble in IPA, I dont know about acetone.. I wonder in their natural form in the rue seed and caapi vine how soluble they are. If you do extract it, I suggest later doing an A/B on the 'spent' vine/seed and see if more comes out.

you mean like a regular dmt a/b tek? Like vinegar boil followed by lye followed by naphtha? In that case, I might as well just do the a/b and forget the ipa. Ah well.

I don't really care about plant oils. I like a full range anyway.
