Definitely the second! I didn't foresee it would be so difficult to move from one jar to another without it being dissolved on PG, and in retrospective it's obvious if it's supposed to be similar to honey.

It's all good practise, especially if you're doing some of this for the first time.
I agree, and I liked to be able to see DMT dissolve in heptane directly in the mini A/B and disappear from the base soup. It took longer than I would have thought, so that helps me calibrate my expectations for when the base soup has Mimosa bark and you can't see it happen (I suppose with bark and a much bigger volume it will take even longer).

Excellent. Good practical chemistry is all about making astute observations and being able to place them into an appropriate context (y)
