Cake or bottle vape?

Hey guys, pathos here

So. My GVG isn't gonna be here till Monday (Finally joining master race GVG club hehe). Anyways, I have no smoalking utensil until then . I'm not heavy set on grav's because I don't wanna clear a whole 50mg dose in one hit.. Gonna cough that up so hard haha. I do have a bowl. Now should I cake it with parsley on the bottom and ash over the spice and smoalk? Or.. Should I make a nice little water bottle cape
Ya know, cut the bottom off the bottle, put 2-3 layers of tinfoil over the bottom (rubberbanded up) and the. Light it from the bottom at a nice distance and wait for it to milk and inhale that way? This has worked for me. But. I don't know, cake or bottle vaper?.. I feel like the bottle is more fool proof than the cake. I have a proper distance with the bottle set down (ive done it a few times). But I haven't properly found the right proportions of parsley-spice-ash yet for the cake.. Or perhaps do ash on the bottom and parsley on top?. Any comments? I know this might sound bad, but I don't care too much for using foil. I know people have mixed opinions, but I'm fine using it.
What does nexus recommend?

I recommend waiting as well. But if you absolutely can't, I know how it is lol. I'd go with the bowl, certain lightbulbs without the mercury mess work, thin glass though so not recommended. You can do the tin foil, but that's all on you. I try to stay away from it.

Okay thanks guys. I look forward to it. Only problem tho, doin my friends first experience tonight. He's leaving tomorrow so there won't be a Monday for him. Bowl VS. Bottle vape, which is more efficient/fool proof?.. Ive done the tin foil twice. Tested with like 5mg. Worked nicely. But ya know. Again id prefer he do it in separate hits rather than one big rip. But then again, our supply is limited, so I don't wanna accidentally mess it up through a bowl cake. What's your guys preference for caking? I hear mixed reviews..
Ash-spice-parsley?.. Or parsley-spice-ash?..

I have heard such mixed things about aluminum foil.
My method has always been to just put spice in a pipe/bong/anything and then cover the top of the bowl with foil. Poke some holes in this and you get a nice little oven and the flame can't hit the spice.
If using a bong with a slider piece, you can heat up the under side of the bowl and it will vaporize the spice and the flame doesn't even touch the foil.
It works even if you don't know what you're doing.
So is it frowned upon just for health concerns?

Wow I never thought of that! Now, I know I must have herb below spice so it wont fall through and melt through and stuff... But WB on top? No herb on top with the oven method? What's the approx amount of space I should have between the spice and the foil in the bowl ?

If you put some screens down with a small layer of ash or herb underneath your spice,.. then affix another much thicker layer of ash directly above the spice and introduce that slowly until it vapes then you should do well.

I prefer this to the gvg using a steamroller. It has its moments when I give up and grab the gvg, though.

Definitely true. I like the precise control over the heat though. And it's nice when I 'back off' the heat it quits vaporizing quickly enough I don't waste spice.

Tin foil sucks. Screens & ash work. But copper mesh scrubbing pads are cheap($1) & can be found at most grocery stores pr gas stations.
They work so much better than the sandwich method or tin foil.
