Can a mixture of NaOh water and mimosa go bad.

Can a mixture of NaOh water and mimosa go bad. It has been sitting for a couple days until SWIM could find ingredients to continue. Could this harm the final product?

It is fine for the Lye (naoh) to sit with water and mhrb (mimosa). I personally think letting it sit is a better thing because it can take time to break down the mhrb. But I have only one extraction under my belt.

Where are all of the pros??? There are people here asking about teks and extractions! *looking around the universe*

It wont go bad dont worry. The only thing that happens sometimes for people leaving the solvent in the mix for weeks and weeks is that the solvent may come out brown, possibly small particles from the mimosa suspended in it.. In any case this can be cleaned up with a re-a/b, check the FAQ. A few days will most certainly not be a problem, keep going

ive had a jug with MHRB and Lye for several months in the closet. From an old extraction. I decided to extract form it again and see if i got more out of it. The naphtha went really really dark. I re-a/b to get rid of that. I got DMT from it but not much since it was used in a previous extraction. But it proves it won't go bad that quickly

I've pulled from old batches that were over 5 months old. Perfectly fine, although IME the naphtha pulled more alkaloids than dmt out. There may be more dmt-oxide present as well.
