The answer is NO, assuming you are talking about washing your Naphtha after pulling DMT the from base soup?
Its clearly a good practice thing if you can be bothered, but you can get perfectly good NN DMT without it.
If you are washing anything else, let us know the details and I'm sure someone will offer advice.
