Can I Smoke DMT Out of a Glass Bottle?

Would it work if my friend got a small glass bottle (it originally had raspberry juice in it but he cleaned it) and if he put the freebase DMT in the bottle and then put a jet lighter underneath the bottle and lit it and then inhaled out of the hole?

My friend doesn't really want to buy a glass pipe as he doesn't have a lot of money right now, would the bottle option work for him or would the bottle crack or melt?

Chances are that the spice would burn, rather than the bottle would be damaged.

My friend doesn't understand how the DMT would burn as the bottle method would be a similar situation to smoking out of a glass pipe, what is it about the glass pipe that would prevent the DMT from burning even though a lit jet lighter is being held very close to the DMT?

the small effort you put out to make one will pay off 100x over.
While it is POSSIBLE to smoke it by indirect heat on glass, it is difficult, dangerous and in the end inefficient.

When DMT is melted into copper mesh (copper scrubbers with 100+ "bowls" worth for $1 at the dollar store) the copper dissipates the heat so well that it is almost impossible to burn it.
It works so well that you can directly heat the copper for about 30 seconds before it is too hot to touch, then 5 seconds later it is hot enough to touch again, since 75-80C is "too hot to touch" then that make the DMT uber safe in copper.

I dare you to touch a glass bottle heated enough to vaporize DMT immediately after a toke *SCARYYYY*

Its worked for swim and his friends in the past when theyve been stuck, although we have lots of expereince of rising buckets which takes some practice if youve never done it! Plus sometimes if you rise it correctly you can get it all in one go

My apologies for bumping an ancient thread, but SWIM also kind of sees the logic behind this, and it's similarity to a pipe. Could someone explain why exactly it would burn?

It burns because the flame is too hot. You don't need that much heat. You want to vaporize the dmt before it burns. A glass pipe wouldn't be any better unless it's modified or specifically meant to vaporize - like the Glass vapor Genie.

Yea it's going to work - but the goal is efficiency. If you have a 30 mg dose and you burn half of it, you waste 15mg. You're going to burn at least a portion of it that way.

It will work, but it will work very poorly. A glass bottle is the same theory as a "meth pipe", or lightbulb-style vaporizer, but probably even less efficient. In my experience, The Machine works at least ten times better.

The only sources I have to cite on this claim are the countless methods which I tried some time ago, ranging from lightbulbs to vaporizers worth several hundred dollars, and the numerous threads on the subject throughout the forum. Of all the vaporizers I have tried, The Machine is a close second to the GVG.

Just FYI: burnt DMT (not vaporized DMT) produces a very harsh, throat-burning smoke. Properly vaporized DMT should not burn the throat at all, and should be very active at doses as low as 5-10mg. The feel of a properly vaporized hit from The Machine or the GVG is almost indistinguishable from inhaling warm air, aside from the taste of course.
