The MHRB CAKE METHOD

So SWIM read this cake tek and was wondering if he could crash the spice out of the Ethyl using Fumaric Acid? If it could be done, it would eliminate the need to "evaporate" the Eythl and remove the need for a NPS pull. (90% of the danger)
