Cannot breakthrough!

Swim cannot breakthrough and is wondering what is he doing wrong.
Swim vaporizes the spice on a 4 inch light bulb with a zippo lighter...away from the glass from 6inches....then gets closer to heat it up more.
I see wet like fog forming assuming its vapor.
Swim inhales long and deep about 5 -7 times :shock: and still no breakthrough.:x
Feel like somethings about to happen but nothing does. ..except minor effects:?
Swim sees the spice melting into a puddle of liquid thus vaporizing into the straw like pipe tube which is used to suck on.
There is some residue left over but not much. Swim the tried it with a regular bic lighter to see if the zippo was burning the spice but it was even worse!:evil:

I love the ash in a bong method. The problem with the light bulb is that it doesn't vap. very efficently and you can't get a big enough hit quick enough. I made a vapo with a bulb and ending up just painting the inside with spice.

I'd suggest using a vapor genie. Only takes 1 for me to break through.

The spice is not weak. As soon as swim got a hold of it he inhaled once on the same method and broke through. Verry good stuff.
THe same way you described it was the same way swim broke through the first time he smoked enough of it.
Spice in a bowl doesn't work for swim either(sandwich method).

O yeah, NIce set up...looks like its works like a charm!

Yeah your telling me. First 9x..no breakthrough. 10th time...a breakthrough. 5 more times...no breakthrough. 16th time...breakthrough. 4 more time.... no breakthrough!

she usually has one trusted partner in crime to hold the flame/bulb and urge her on to the next hit.
and likewise, she does the same for said trustee.

Yes he does. But swim prefers to do it in a old fashion shamanic way. Like by himself, alone and if preferred in darkness...or some were close to nature ...and in high doses.

You are most likely burning your spice.

You say the sandwich method doesn't work for you, I say try it again using a water bong, and small amounts of leaf. Try using a very mellow leaf, like mullen or blue lotus (both can be got for very cheap online). Just a bit on the bottom and a tiny bit on top, with the spice in between.

Other than that, you can try the machine, but it can be tricky to make.

I would trash the lightbulb.....most people don't like it. It produces the harshest smoke out of any method available. Plus if you are using a real lightbulb you have no idea what chemicals they treated the glass with. I personally think it is a dangerous way to smoke spice.

Seems like you're wasting a whole lot of DMT there man, 2 breakthroughs out of 20 is a poor ratio. I feel for ya mate, I really do... thats not good.
Why not just scrap that bulb and invest some time in constructing a machine? I remember seeing a pic of that bulb and I know wouldn't take a hit from any device involving naked flames that had plastic incorperated into its design... each to thier own, but nah not for me man.

Very frustrating! You know acolon_5 (a true person of wisdom for anything having to do with spice or pharma/ayahuasca) posted a brilliant link at the top of the DMT Experiences section titled "Trouble Breaking Through???" (Trouble Breaking Through??? - DMT Experiences - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus).

You've probably already checked it, but just in case I thought I'd recommend it. This guy knows his spice!

I bought a freebase bubbler in my hick ghetto town for $12 (American) when I was having trouble breaking through. Slow and careful vaporization (watch the burning issue, as acolon_5 advises) with looong, slooow hits and holding until the exhale was clear tended to yield breakthroughs every time . . .

Finally, my breakthroughs have been more likely and stronger when I have had another person in the room to take the hardware from my hands once the trance starts. This allows me to take that extra toke I would normally forgo to ensure safety . ..

as far as all other advice goes.. theres good and bad in everywhere but listen up.. it doesn't get any more blunt than this. FUCK ALL THAT SHIT ! get a straight glass tube... like a crack stem.. put a hefty screen in it.. get a nice ash layer going in front and smoke it like crack... throw about 250 mg's in the end and YES SUCK THE FLAME STRAIGHT DOWN THE TUBE ... fuck all that old mythical dont let the flame touch the spice BS. Fucking torch that shit up.... take as big a hit as you can long and slow, inhale until you can hold NO MORE smoke and hold it until you either breakthrough or your lungs feel like they will burst, if 2 then blow it out and immediately follow with another.. if you are out of our solar system by the middle of hit two..if this doesn't send you full force breakthrough THEN YOU HAVE SHIT BARK... dont feel bad.. only about 1-6or8 batches is actual MHRB nowadays.... good luck finding god bark, realy i mean it. YOu are prolly trying to break through on MT and NMT.

250mgs? erm, if you need to smoke that much to breakthrough then i'd definitly advise not doing it that way i hope to god that will give you more than 1 trip.

Why absolutely.... that way .. as soon as you come back from the deepest realms of hyperspace you can hit it one more time... and go completely back out there.....

btw- i dont mean that sounding cocky or boastful... what i mean is ive done far larger doses iv than what theyve ever done. Ive been on a timed release continuous drip keeping at their best for 8 hours...

Real good dmt will blast you full throttle into hyperspace on 1 hit if the hit is big enough , completely travels to the lungs and is held long enough.... if you have to take several hits back to back you are smoking m.pudica extract or something similar which only reaches AT BEST 1/10th the potency of real mhrb extract. Almost all the bark is shit nowadays because almost all the real mhrb has been raped outta the world. Its still there.. just rarer and rarer.. peace and godspeed!

I also don't care if the light bulb is harsh because it dose not bother me and it gets me to a breakthrough. I have not tried it ever since my 1st one. Ive been exploring with many types of methods that seem to work for many members of hyperspace but only the light bulb takes me trough. Al tho I am concerned that I might be smoking some mercury after I washed it out with salt and rubbing alcohol.

Dude exactly how you described it is how I constructed the best vaporizing device for me.

I used a glass pipe tube from water pipes.
Taped one end with a straw.
Packed some spice halfway.....then put some brillo/steel wool on the open end.
Let the spice land on the brillo/steel wool and heat it up from about 3-4inces away thus getting closer.
Your barely going to see some grayish fog(vapor about 5-10 secs in) then inhaled while your torch is on.
Once you take a whole hit you can turn of the torch and wait 5 seconds before exhaling and light it again...then inhale the second time even tho the first one might break you through.( Its supper strong)
Al tho swim did not pack 250mg. It was around 30mg.!:d
