Can't dilute DMT in PG or PG/VG

Dear community, I'm facing this issue now for the second time and have no idea how to solve it.
I was doing e-juice for me in the last 3 years with different kind of spice and never had any issues with diluting 1g of spice in 2ml of 50/50 ejuice or 1:1 ratio without VG.

I tried:

1. 0,25g spice in 0,5 pg = glue
2. 0,25g spice in 1g PG = glue
3. 0,25g spice in 0,5PG 0,5VG = honey but it's not mixing well, you see the part of glue and some liquid around it.

I tried to use hot water bath
I tried to use microwave
I tried to use 2 different pure PG's and 2 different PG/VG mixes and I have every time the same issue.
I contacted *someone* (I know he's doing carts with his spice) he had never this issues .

The spice is yellowish, I tried it on e-mesh, it's great.

Do you have any solution for me?

... If I take cold PG and add the spice to it, let it sit for hours it's nearly dissolving.
If I apply any heat it immediately getting a honey/glue consistency that you can't vape...

It may be good to reset your dmt with a mini A/B. You may have an odd xtal form prone to growing polymer dmt. Anything can cause xtal form shifts, even a warm cycle while stored that the other person's dmt may not have experienced.

A mini A/B is like a normal acid/base extraction, but on a smaller scale since you're using just the isolated freebase without the plant material of the usual initial extraction.

As for the second question, @Loveall answered that already:

Your sample will have had more time for any change to have occurred, just for one thing.

This is yet another argument for extracting one's own DMT oneself. Can you be certain that what you currently have is even DMT freebase? "Well, it worked on the e-mesh" is not a valid answer

I'm sure that's it's freebase, because I know the source and they never had any issues with dissolving it.

This could be one way of crystals changing to another polymorph, although it's not specifically noted for DMT in the scientific literature. DMT's solubility in PG is fairly poor already so even a superficial change may hinder solubility.

I'm inclined to apply Occam's razor, though - have you considered the moisture content of your PG? If there is too much water present that could hinder the DMT's solubility. Has your PG been exposed to high humidity?

For me, heating the DMT + PG mix on a hotplate at 80C+ made for a rather fast absorption of the DMT, and when cooled down nothing dropped out.

My last mixture was 400mg DMT-Freebase with 140mg citric acid added to 3ml PG, heated it to 80C+, dissolved it all by stirring while hot and then in the end added 0.75ml VG for smoothness.

The end result is some ~4.5ml golden e-liquid that works pretty well. Due to less DMT in the mix it is more liquidy and seems to better saturate the cotton again after a puff.

Settings for this on the Geekvape Aegis M100 with Z Nano 2 tank is:

• TC-SS
• 185C
• 17W

Getting your inhaling skills perfected will highly improve your ride:

• Make sure you keep hearing the soft crackling when you take a puff. Stop puffing when it stops crackling since the cottons are getting dry, wait a few seconds before pulsing again.
• Pull in enough air through the air vents to make sure you get your oxygen in, and to have some control over the vape temperature reaching your lungs.

And the last piece of advice: have a good spot to put down your vape after taking your puffs, mine dropped on their side a few times, thankfully not spilling liquid, but it would ease the mind having a good, solid spot for quickly putting away the vape safely.

I never had any issues without dissolving my spice. I was using a water bath or microwave, was always happy.

Should I only dissolve It in naphtha and the recrystallise it?

There will be methods, just not any I can quote off the top of my head.

If it dissolves in naphtha straight off the bat that would at least be a hopeful sign that it might be the freebase. Is there any possibility that your material may have got switched for another substance by accident?

No, It's not switched, I tried it on e-mesh and it is working very well ))))

I found yesterday my old spice and dissolved it easily in my PG/VG mix as I've done it usually.

The spice that I can't dissolve is very yellowish - to orange. May be it has to much paint fats? Is fat soluble in PG?
So what will be the easies way to clean it?

The yellow / orange might well be DMT polymer, which is less soluble I think. A mini A/B cycle or two should reduce the amount of polymer and also clean any possible impurities.

IME, if your juice is congealing, it's almost always related to how much heat you applied to mix it together. Placing the DMT powder alone in a tiny glass vessel and into a bowl of slightly hotter than the hottest tap water is what I do. The DMT will start to liquify a bit when you mix it around. Once it's at a decent consistency, I'll add in the VG and mix thoroughly. If you let it sit out at room temperature and mix every 30-60m, it'll mix quite well and not congeal as much.

DMT's solubility in PG is fairly poor already so even a superficial change may hinder solubility.

I thought DMT's solubility in PG was pretty good, but VG was poor?
