Can't seem to access chat

I can't seem to access chat. I get an error. I tried a few minutes as of the time of this post.

do I have to make a seperate login for chat?

Yes you have to log in the chat separately to join the chat (should be the same user/pass than the one you use in the forum)/

I do do that. same details different login. but when I try, I get some server error '/' or something.
something wrong with my account?

I used to be unable to log into chat too. It turned out to be some problematic characters in my password. I changed my password and that resolved the issue.

Is it still ongoing? Have you tried deleting cookies?

got it to work. had to change account details. someone gotta fix that, kind of inconvenient
