Hello!
So I read all this stuff with:
Do not directly put the flame into the Changa
Do use a layer of ashes on top of it, so it won't burn.
So it does not really work, but maybe I can figure out, when asking some questions:
If the flame is NOT directly on the changa, how will it ever get hot enough ??
I assume this is meant: The flame is staying above the bowl and when you pull air through it, it INDEED gets sucked into the bowl, but then directly leaves the bowl again, when you stop sucking air through it.
Is this correct?
So the flame ineed touches your material, but only when you pull air through your bong?
1.) Also it is said that I should only light the Blend for the first seconds and then put off the flame and combust it with solely sucking air through it.
Sadly the material gets unlighted again, if I don't keep sucking air + holding the fire in a way, it gets sucked into the bowl.
So no fire on = no further lit Changa.
2.) And for the layer of Ashes: I don't smoke anything at all except this, so I thought: I will use Salt (lol).
I guess it should definetly be fine, as it is a non-combusting layer on top of it, which protects it from direct heat ?
3.) There was a guy telling this:
"the main purpose of the herb is to protect the DMT from direct flame, so with changa or enhanced leaf unlike freebase DMT you can smoke it without worrying much about burning it.."
(On the Thread *Enhanced Leaf vs. Changa?*)
So when I read it it sounds like I would not really have to pay attention for not combusting, as I use Changa and not plain DMT. Is this correct? So is the way I do it fine and even with the flame touching the bowl all the time I would NOT have to fear combusting the material instead of evaporating it?
