Hello Bezevo!
It all depends on your goal. I am not looking for the peak mystical experience or the best, smoothest most perfect way to play this instrument. Already dealt with this obsession hahah.
I just want to feel it and get things going, turn on the light.
I equate smoking with combusting the enhanced plant material and inhaling the smoke.
Actually with changa or enhanced leaf you have to burn the leaf material to make it work.
You decide the temperature with your breath.
Harmalas don't vape so easily...
If you only heat it you get the spice and not all of it, maybe something from the admixture plants.
I agree, maybe you need a bit more spice and it's brutal, I used to put a 0,2 of standard 3:1 changa and smoke it in three pulls with the chilum when I first started.
Strong, fast, mystical, all encompassing.
In the beginning I used to hate the smell of burnt spice. With time I got accustomed to it and now it has become something I really like.
It's like an instant memory feeling, sometimes just the smell is enough.
And it doesn't take that smell untill you leave it there, a bit like tobacco ash, that it doesn't stink in the beginning, but after some time in an ashtray it stinks (microorganisms/molds living in the ash).
E-liquid clogs too much my lungs and makes them feel heavy, vaping small amounts of raw crystal with or without herbs is too tricky.
I use spice really often for medical reasons, and smoking small amounts of enhanced mullein is the best method I've found.
I'm not too worried about the potential "waste" since I'm really sensitive to it and I need crumbles of enhanced leaf to feel it. With harmalas in the system even less but the effect is different.
The chillum thing is a resurfaced memory that I wanted to share, maybe someone understands it.
