I've read about the differences between changa and freebase but I would like some opinions on which would be an overall smoother experience for the first time user? Also, how is actually smoking changa in comparison to freebase? Is it a smoother/more gradual transition? I was going to make a 1:1 (or 5:4) mixture of caapi leaf and dmt freebase, does this sound like a fairly good blend or what else would be recomended?

Ok, that sounds great. Would it still be best to try to vaporize it like freebase (more heat?) or just throw it in a bowl and smoke it like bud?

I can't answer your second post as well as someone else can, but I just wanted to second that changa is a much easier first time, in every way.

I kind of do it somewhere in between.

First of all I crumble the leaf pretty fine so it burns slower, then load my dose into a cone and then when lighting I "tap" the cone with the flame and a small corner will start to glow if done right. Once I get this far I inhale slowly for as long as I can, aiming to clear the bowl in one lung full, as it will continue to burn if left between inhalations, which is just a sorry waste.

thanks for this post man.

you've inspired me to look further into changa.

heard about it alot but i just figured putting spice on top of bud was easier.

guess i need to make some spicy peppermint :D
