First of all What do you think of replacing S.W.I.M. with M.E.T.B. (my evil twin brother)? Although its not as smooth off the tongue, who cares you don't have to say it just type it, I think it could catch on šŸ˜‰

Anyway M.E.T.B. was wondering about changa. Mainly how everyone says that it is an easier way to dose but it seems that it would be more difficult because you don't know how much DMT your getting since its just enhanced leaf instead of pure spice. Without pre-weighing before enhancing at least, and M.E.T.B. doesn't have a mg scale but some have recommended changa as easier to dose. So could someone please help M.E.T.B. to understand this.

Also M.E.T.B. was wondering if changa tastes like salvia because he smoked some spice sandwiched between MJ and it tasted like salvia which in turn gave his experience a salvia like feel to it (M.E.T.B. does not like this because salvia has been very rough with him, probably due to his improper ingestion by smoking her, M.E.T.B has heard smoking is a no no. But the taste of salvia makes him very uneasy and he finds it hard to overcome this sense of dread.)

What are some thoughts on this?
 
Well, regardless of the method, neither you nor your brother would know how much DMT you're getting if you don't have a scale. I would highly recommend getting a scale.

Once you do get a scale and pre-weigh everything before making enhanced leaf, getting the dosage right is a little easier because small measurement inaccuracies are less of a factor, especially if you have a ratio greater than 1:1 leaf to DMT.

As for MJ + DMT seeming like salvia -- nothing has ever seemed like salvia to me. Salvia is in a league of its own.
 
One thing to note on the scale front is that you can really get away with using a centigram scale instead of a milligram scale. I got mine for about ten or fifteen bucks. The slight relative inaccuracy is quite excusable.

Now, I don't see why you would think that it is more difficult to dose with changa...? It's easier, because you're working with larger amounts of material. It's also easier because, instead of trying to vaporize a pile of crystal all at once, you can simply load the bong and slooowly smoke through a bowl. Even if you have a GVG (like me), because the spice is distributed evenly throughout a much larger mass, it's easy to take as much as you need and nothing more. And although it's not recommendable, because of the above factors even unweighed amounts of spice during preparation would be easier to dose with once the user has ascertained the strength of the changa. Just keep in mind that the plant material will weigh half as much as you think it will!

And no, changa does not taste like salvia. Changa tastes like whatever you want it to taste like. Mint, sex, tryptamine, etc. It can taste like salvia... if you put salvia in it.

Low doses of DMT while on 2nd plat DXM feels very similar to salvia in my experiences.

I don't like SWIM, personally, and METB seems even worse (not to mention it isn't gender neutral)
 
With changa I dont measure each hit. I just smoke it a hit at a time until I'm where I wanna be. Its quite nice. As for taste the recipe for changa is open ended. Whatever smokable plant or additive is fine to add. The taste is up to you.

Once you try changa you may never go back to straight spice.

So, after you have your scale and weigh the exact amount... you can dissolve this onto some herb at a 1:1 ratio. If the spice is dissolved in something like IPA, and the herb is uniformly saturated in solution, it should be pretty evenly distributed.
 
SWIM just mixed a small batch of recrystallized spice with some freebase harmala at a 1:1 ratio and realized something's not right. He is confused as to whether spice should be mixed with dried plant, plant extract, or freebase harmala. He's not gonna touch that stuff until he has more information on mixing spice with pure harmala freebase. He thought about adding more spice to adjust the spice:MAOI ratio and subsequently infusing that mixture onto some tasty leaves. But the more info that SWIM has, the more easily he can make a decision about what to do with this mixture.


As a side note, SWIM was diagnosed with ADD 10 years ago and was put on amphetamines to keep him focused in school and work (he didn't take it on weekends or summer). Reading about changa and pharmahuasca has inspired him to live his life without stimulants or other unnecessary drugs. He stopped smoking cigarettes & taking dexedrine last week, and He's starting to realize why he smoked so much herb over the past 6 years (it takes the edge off from amphetamine. Remove amphetamine -> remove need for weed). He don't want to sound cliche by ranting about how it has changed his life for the better... but it has.
 
Newfound_wonder, you are going to want some sort of herb to evap the dmt onto. You dont say what ratio you mixed the dmt and harmala. 1:1 ration might be a bit too much:)

1:1:0.3 (dmt/herb/harmala extract) works good for me. Get some clean acetone/IPA/everlear and disolve the dmt and harmalas and add the herb to that, let it evap dry and smoke it:)

SWIM is planning on acquiring some B. caapi leaves and making some enhanced leaf. Once he gets his feet wet with spice + caapi leaf he can change the recipe as he sees fit.

He plans on saving the dose of DMT+ freebase harmala for pharmahuasca.
 
I tried changa for the first time tonight actually using blue lotus. It was a terrific experience. Much more colorful than usual and the details were far more intricate as if made out of delicate lace as opposed to granular boxes. I think it's interesting that you say that it tastes like salvia because as I was smoking it earlier, before having read this post, I thought that the taste was reminiscent of salvia as well.
