Ok so one example I believe of this happening would be my ex gf. When we split up my path follow one of self improvement. I worked on my self constantly and my hard work paid off. She on the other hand, started drinking, smoking pot, and through all the partying ended up hitting someone over the head with a beer bottle who turned out to be a minor and she went to prison. Still there too
you made me laugh but thats unfortunate for her.
its working for me because before study brought anxiety and pessimism. Now I'm confident and finding study a whole lot easier. Ok so maybe the universe isnt lining stuff up for me yet but I better control of my mental faculties by visualizing what I want.
These are only early days but so far so good. Title a little over zealous but oh well

DNA, if it has inspired you to "work towards goals", then it's gonna help you big time. In fact, all self help books follow the same theme.
The difference with The secret, is that you're seeing the process in a more vivid and dreamlike way.
The Secret is just giving you another point of view angle to realise that if you truly want something enough, work towards it, and keep the dream alive despite trial and errors, then you should get it. This is what all the rich entreupeners did to succeed.8)
A little word about "failure" : Those that succeed are not perfectionists. They try their best but know that life will give them tough times ahead, and they know that they need to work through these tough times to get to where the sun shines, and in doing so build up resiliance.
The trouble with perfectionists is that when something isn't going as perfectly well as their obsessive selves want, they tend to give up. Then they wonder why their "lesser" buddies are reaping success in their lives, and start to doubt themselves and beat themselves up!
So what i'm just saying is that if you are a "perfectionist", you do have the edge at first, but you must realise that to reach to the highest aims you're gonna have to get your hands dirty. But if you persevere instead of giving up, you'll be doing yourself the best confidence boosting thing you can, and you will have overcome fears, doubts, and self criticism.
In another post is said that the keys to success were:
1. VISION to see.
2. FAITH to believe.
3. COURAGE to do.
4. PERSISTENCE to see it through.
The Secret would help with all of this, the main thing of importance being whatever you have chosen, that you work towards it in mini goals. I hope my bit on "failure" helps illustrate the fine line of success and losing the battle!

Anyways, I'm generally more happy than I used to be. I went through a pretty long stress/anger state that was only getting worse. Also I wasn't doing much inward thinking about how I act and feel. I ended up asking myself "what do I want"
I've always felt like I have some kind of path, and I kinda of stopped thinking about it for a long time partially due to the fact I was feeling lost from this path and was slowly giving up on trying to figure where my path lead to and how to find out. focusing on thinking positively and trying to improve upon myself lead me To enjoying things more and I started to have a lot more good luck. Eventually I was brought to the edge of my path for the first time. Learning about DMT.
Now I feel as if I Hve been on this path for quite sometime. But there is still something missing and I have yet to figure it out. All in due time.

Great ideas and insights are great especially when they are used for the betterment of mankind. I guess if the respected people of today like Pinchbeck, Dennis McKenna, etc, just wrote on forums, their lives would be completely different, they certainly would not be where they are now!
They defined their goals, and made a path... And did it. What about you?

I did Charity work for 2 years and it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, and is just another business.
Of course it's good to help people to "help themselves", and do favours for people that need help, but there comes a point where Charity is highly questionable, and sometimes does not work the way intended because it creates a culture of dependancy, and sometimes the helper unfortunately (but in many cases true), is only doing it to make themselves look/feel better for their own selfish needs, whilst attempting to impress friends and family by being seen to be doing a "respectable care job". 3.2.1..... Ahhhhhhh!!,
Yes, i met lot's of those cringeworthy people. What's next?, a talk about Jehovas whitnesses??...Equally cringeworthy!! :lol:

also the most lost

rather than just belief,,, not played out in fact

because some know more than they think

in truth

Ya that way isn't real my way. I'm still figuring out where I fit in this life. I'm definitely making headway though. I'm starting to figure out that the working life isn't for me and I am strongly considering going back to school. I'm finding a calling towards chemistry. Right now I feel Like more changes to my life style are needed. It's slowly brin revealed to me as long as I'm making changes more things are becoming apparent.
