Check my numbers please.

Hi

I've been doing small 50mg extractions for a while but last night I decided to extract from the rest of my powdered MHRB, 240g. I've never extracted this quantity before so Id be grateful if someone would verify my numbers and ratios.

Firstly, I added 3.5 litres of water to a glass Demi-John. I arrived at that volume by multiplying my MHRB amount, 240g, by 15. I read somewhere that the ideal amount of water is x15 the MHRB amount.

I added 240g of lye, then tested the PH using papers. They were a nice purple colour indicating PH 13-14.

I added some salt. Not 1:1 'cause I did not have much left.

How much solvent should I use in each pull? The glass demijohn
Is quite wide so I might find it tough pulling lesser amounts.

Hey Zed...where you been?

That's a lot of water...but hey its in there now....
The bottle is pretty wide so I'm going to say 200ml of Nap to start off with. It will probably be a thin layer...but with a load of salt in there...(do more)...it should saturate nicely...
I hope you've got your turkey baster skillz down...or get a big syringe. (you can always decant the nap with some of the base into a smaller glass and repull...)
If it's not enough on your 1st pull...double it to 400ml

Yeah I've been checking in now and then, seeing what DMT is doing for people. I've been doing small-scale extractions that I've been happy with but my other half is getting pissed off with me talking over her kitchen so often, so I'm going back to the big ones. Half an pound at a time I think.

I have had success with MHRB so here's what I did..

600ml TapWater
100mg Caustic Soda

---mix for 2minz---

wait 40min-1hour (clear)(still warm)

put 100grams MHRB (shredded) in blender

Add powder to Liquid and stir 10mins

Wait 30-50mins (still warm)

100ml Naphtha (Newport)
Roll for 3mins x 5 (5min gaps)

--wait 2hours--

Separate and Freeze in a Jam Jar...
10mins in it will look cloudy..... 1 hour in you will see white dots... 4 hours in it filled with Pure white SNOW...
8hours and the Naphtha is clear... decant and reuse..

I mean bright white!

Hope that helps... 100gram MHRB... that small bag is a big heap on paper
that stuff out of the bag... i took a tiny TINY pinch of that darker stuff... 25min body rush. i mean an ammount that would not cover the "Anyone" (bit of text)

eyeballing is hard cuz different amounts have different weights even if they look the same
