greetings everyone!

i guess i do not have full access yet; forgive me if i shouldn't post this in this area...but i hope it's ok!

did anyone watch the recent 3-night even on the SyFy network, "Childhood's End"? it is an adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's novel. this was always one of my favorite books; was wondering if it would ever be made into a film; finally someone did. while this was a TV-miniseries essentially, i actually thought it was quite well done.

it was, obviously, television and a network series as well. it was not perfect in any way, yet the positives far outweighed the negatives in my opinion. i was bummed when the third episode concluded; that's usually a sign something was quite good when one is sad it ended.

not unlike a voyage to hyperspace, no? :)

anyone else watch it? reason i ask, is it actually played a part, in a way, in my first breakthrough, about which i will post soon. still integrating.

That was a crazy show .....wow! (@ the end)

We did have a similar travellings with haoma, no devil look alikes there, but there was a figure (we) called Dūraoša who would normally be very wise (they appeared to know everything) but on one occaison (during a hyper mushaira) they turned against us when we said to them: Dude you are a genius !!
They don't mind the 'dude' normally.....so.... yet the 'genius' g-word unexpectedly seemed to trigger them killing us by THE ALL stimulus package flood. It was literally THE ALL coming hauled at us.

We begged them to stop but they said: It will never never ever ever stop....! :twisted:

(..imagine the soundz of dragon laughter here)

We said: Then this is hell?

There was no answer ---- instead it continued until we was no moar.....:(

Although the setting was different, it was like the bit from the miniseries, where they show him (the vortex that leads to) the Overmind and his hands started to cease existing...but we was already in the centre of that vortex...(..there was no quiet eye)

Intezam was then rebuild from scratch by the birdppl's loud'n piercing greetings, expectations and happy anticipations, but we had to relearn how to breathe and all....
