SWIM has narrowed it down to this, he just wants something that is simple and works. He is leaning towards the vaporgenie because it appears to be more portable. Any thoughts?

Classic Vaporgenie vs The Machine

The machine (not it's bong version) is just as portable as a pipe. It's more a low cost method to smoking. They both work pretty good, but a proper vaporisation device beats the machine imho. The machine is pretty nice in its bong version because you can put water in (it's smoother this way) . The best should be a water bong vaporstar thing.
But for portability, a vaporgenie or vaporstar with a small tube would work best imho.
