Cleaner mescaline pulls with naphtha pre-pull?

SSWIM was wondering, that since mescaline (freebase, hydrochloride, sulfate) does not dissolve readily in naphtha wouldn't it make sense to do a pull of alkaloids with naphthta before doing xyelene / d-limone pulls.

Shouldn't this get out many of the other alkaloids that are not mescaline resulting in cleaner pulls after that?

You could try it, just save the naphtha, if your yield is low you can always salt out the lost mescaline from the naphtha.

If you're so much concerned about fats, why not do a defatting step with a more efficent solvent before you basify your soup?

You'd get many more oils this way.
