Cleaning?

Being a clean freak and totally OCD, I want to scrub out all the crap out of my tools before I try another tek. What is the best method of cleaning out a baster or syringe to get rid of any excess naoh/water/mimosa residue that might be in there?

I used Epsom salt and water to clean all my glass, and Hot nap for everything that had remnants of spice followed by Epsom salt. It worked really good for me.
