Client-side checking of maximum length in profile posts

Currently, you can write a profile comment or profile post as long as you like, and you are only let know that it's too long after attempting to submit it. It's a very minor annoyance, but an annoyance still.
I suggest adding the maxlength attribute to the textarea (or something equivalent) to allow the user to know if the limit has been reached before attempting to submit.

Presumably this could include a character count and/or countdown, for optimal clarity.
 
I'ver looked into this, and it seems XenForo uses the Rich Text Editor almost everywhere, and that one is javascipt-based, which makes it quite hard to set the max length in stone, all with updates and such.

In the other places where a textarea is used, the maximum length has already been set.
