Currently, you can write a profile comment or profile post as long as you like, and you are only let know that it's too long after attempting to submit it. It's a very minor annoyance, but an annoyance still.
I suggest adding the maxlength attribute to the textarea (or something equivalent) to allow the user to know if the limit has been reached before attempting to submit.
