Cloudy d-Limo q21q21 tek. Not sure why.

I guess the topic says what's up. MHRB in vinegar and then into a thick batter with Ms.Wages lime. The first pull done at 24hrs, I let the limo sit in the batter over night, Filtered though cotton in a funnel. Pull was cloudy milky yellow. I am doing a FASI drop wise on the first pull and it is precipitating white clouds. Just curious because the Limo is usually clearer but I have only worked with ACRB before.

Usually means its full of the good stuff! Will no doubt have pulled some oils too but that will get separated once you ahve done the FASI..

Everything seems to be coming out OK. When the crystals fell out I was left with clear yellow d-limo.

I have already done a FASI on them first 3. I think my bottle of 99%IPA took in a little ambient H2O from the look of the gooey bottom of the jar compared to the white needles on the sides. I did a water based sodium carb freebase re-X so in 3 or 4 days I will report how that went. I can see a good deal of precip white and yellow clumps.

I have some acetone I had planned to do a FASA cleanup but the seal on the jar lid melted during drying so I think I need to re-do in an actual reagent jar. i don't want plasticisers in my spice. If the quality is good with the water ReX That may be the path from now on.
