Coca leaf

Migrated topic.
Coca extractions are nearly 1:1 to dmt extractions so i guess its okay.

Ofc keeping sourcing out of the talk as usual.

I was just wondering if I could skip the Removed step from the usual extraction and make something nice with repetitive cleaning steps. I'd like to make a full spectrum coca extract without changing anything. Maybe something similar to the paste but higher purity.

I was thinking something like.

1 Dry and powder leaves.

2 Base with sodium carbonate

3 Extract with kerosene

4 Salt with sulpheric acid/filter

5 Base with ammonia/ collect precipitate/ wash

Maybe repeat 4&5

6 Dissolve in acetone

7 You could maybe stop here and evap or salt with HCL/ acetone

Thoughts?

Besides cocaine, the coca leaf contains a number of other alkaloids, including methylecgonine cinnamate, benzoylecgonine, truxilline, hydroxytropacocaine, tropacocaine, ecgonine, cuscohygrine, dihydrocuscohygrine, nicotine, and hygrine.

The final product would likely be a pasty/ waxy substance containing a mix of these alkaloids. This process does not change or remove anything active like making cocaine therefore would not yield any kind of crystallized coke Hcl.

No synthesis talk that uses dangerous/watched chemicals and procedures

Discussion of simple safe non-commercial synthesis not requiring watched chemicals are tolerated (example: the reduction of DMT N-oxide to DMT with zinc, or the supposed LSA-to-LSH conversion).
We are not here to help you make cocaine. Please treat this sacred botanical respectfully.

I feel that when they make the pure stuff it kind of ruins the plant, the leaves feel way better in my opinion. Its probably because the other alkaloids are changed or removed. I just want to make a nice clean full spectrum extract, for this reason I have omitted any sketchy steps from the proposed extraction. It does not use anything that you wouldn't use in a dmt tek. I'm almost positive it should work, though I would like to see if anyone here has tried something similar. When the leaves on my bushes grow back I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
