So there I was... Minding my own extractions and whatnot and I had a reason to throw everything out... a good reason... not going to jail forever... but whatever... so there I am dumping jars out in my bathroom and I realize there is some white crap floating on the top of the water in my shitter.... so some other guy that isn't me grabs a jar that is mostly dumped and adds A LOT of cold water so with the miniscule solvent layer all of the molecules were brought to the top... So I did some thinkin' and thought that the coldness of the h2o would turn any oil into xtals and the non watersoluableness plus the NPS would drag them all to the top... so what do you do? you premix lye and h20 and salt and add mhrb.... *and a little NPS...* Then take a 5 or 6 gallon bucket and fill with icewater *drop a piece of dry ice in the bottom for good measure... then add your whole ectraxion once you have it good and shook up... and then stirr... all the gold floats and you gather it up and dry it out... BOOM...
 
what does the thread title have to do with the content?

Have you tried this as an extraction tek? I've heard that in concentrated solutions the crystals will drop out once cooled down, but that they are still quite dirty and need cleaning up... also I'm not sure if they will float.
 
L0RAX, to my knowledge, you can't crystallize oils. What happens during freeze precipation is, that the dmt drops out while the other crap stays in solution. It's not a conversion. You can convert dmt n-oxide with zinc - cold toilet water is unfortunatly not suitable. Still, thanks for sharing your idea :)
