This is a plant I've had interest in for quite some time now. I've got three currently in my garden....

They're looking a little shabby, having just weathered a storm... however, I was able to collect some leaves.

The green and white variety has been the most promising, with strong hypnogogic visuals (at one point, startlingly clear) and auditory ideations – an amplified version of what you get just as you drift off to sleep. This after smoking two small leaves at bedtime.

The other two varieties I have yet to properly document.

Green / White Leaf

It took me a day to completely "unpack" my first experience, which I would rate at a +1.5. Mild, but definitely something to it. Like drinking a 350ml can of beer on an empty stomach.

Experience 1
I smoked a bowl-full in bed and drifted off to sleep. The patternings and images you typically see as you fall asleep were much more vivid and clear – at one point, VIVIDLY clear – as in I could see the pores on the face of the off-world colonist I was envisioning.

This was followed by a dream of 2–3 people (Nexians?) asking me to compare the coleus I'd just took to a bunch of salvia divinorum leaves they were offering me on a white dish.

I woke up about two hours later to use the WC, and to my surprise, still felt a bit shifted. 🤔

Experience 2
It actually reactivated my mj! I got quite heavy-headed and sedate, straight off after a fully packed bowl. Hypnogogic visuals where slightly more pronounced, but not as much as the previous night.

My dog woke me up 45 minutes later whimpering 'cuz she had to take a dump. Outside, I was groggy, and if I turned my head quickly, I experienced trailing phosphenes. This was surprising. Then I started hearing the clicks. Every sound I heard around me began with a clicking sound, not unlike the one you hear on a door knob button lock.

I fell back asleep without problem.
