Hello family! It's been a month or two.
I'm sure I saw a few of you at this year's Rainbow Gathering.
It was my first year attending. I didnt' know quite what to expect and came wholly unprepared,
but I was accepted and loved by all. I will treasure that experience for the rest of my life 😁

With regards to my Subject Matter:
I see so many kids my age finishing college with a useless 4 year degree, deep into debt, even unemployed.

I have been taking a year and a half off of school. I pursued general education courses for two semesters. I failed the majority of my classes due to major depression, anxiety which made class, peer interaction difficult, as well as a significant drug problem. heavily addicted to GHB, ritalin, MXE (bad stuff). It was a disaster. I was not prepared nor mature enough to devote myself to school, not having a real Focus or End goal in mind.

Thinking back to my Junior Year of High School, I excelled in my college level AP Chemistry course. I have forgotten most of what I learned, but I remember that It came very naturally to me. The conversions, formulas, I was especially excited for our weekly lab experiments where we used very basic chemicals, bunsen burner, etc.

I think I might enjoy attending school once more and dedicating my time to the pursuit of knowledge, rather than partying and using substances. Would a Bachelors in Chemistry be marketable if I did not pursue a masters or PhD?

Which specialized field of chemistry has the greatest propensity for growth in the coming years?
Ideally I would like to work for a pharmaceutical company to help develop a Tryptamine based anti-depressant for the masses (I can dream, can't i? :d )

Lovin' you all
