Color change?

The surface of my limtek rapidly changes from light grey to a manure color. When stirred, it's apparent that only the surface has undergone this change, but the newly exposed surface undergoes the same change within seconds. One pound of food grade lime was combined with one pound MHRB, and water was added until it became a thick but stirrable paste that holds its shape pretty well. No other reagent has been involved at this point. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, is it something I need to remedy?

So you are using limetek
It is hard to figure out what could be wrong, i have a guess it could be too much water, do you know how much you added?

Since this tek is a drytek you want as minimal water.

Idk hopefully someone will chime in that has experienced this, my advice continue with the tek and see if you get any results. good luck

Dude, it's totally normal. If you did q21q21's tek, I wonder how you missed the part where it's written that it is normal!

That's good to know. I'm using an independently developed limtek based on a review of many existing teks. Is this color change something I should be facilitating?
