Limtek in which moist lime/MHRB sits in the top and limonene is heated at the bottom (probably not the greatest idea, considering potential pressure buildup and possible difficulty stirring).
Simple brew in which acidic solution is heated at the bottom with dry material in the top (probably the best option).
IPA extraction in the same manner as the brew (as SWIM believes is sometimes done with a soxhlet).
This would be an ideal way to make a brew for ayahuasca and may also facilitate a decent A/B.
SWIM would imagine it would be sufficient. SWIM also wonders whether sodium carbonate would a sufficient base to follow this up with. Or else, the extract could be evapped until a resin, then basified with household base and pulled with limonene. Seems like a lot of steps, considering the addition of a fumaric acid salting to retrieve product, but most of this should be more or less automatic.
If a fumarate resin could be produced right away (FASW in the bottom, followed by evap), SWIM wonders how easy it would be to clean up (use of IPA and/or acetone, followed by water purification). Or here's a crazy idea: Dry fumaric acid mixed evenly with dry MHRB powder in the top, with just water in the bottom (followed by evap/cleanup, as before). Maybe gelatin in the top to trap tannins? Maybe limonene in the top to defat?
