Confusing dosage options for vaping dmt dissolved in PG

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
I have heard everything from .5g in 3ml to 1g in 1ml PG.

My glass dropper holds about 1.5ml of juice and 1ml saturate a dry wick.

A saturated wick will give about 6 large hits before getting a dry/burnt hit.

1gram of dmt per 1ml equates to 166mg per hit of dmt.

Now kudos to the guys who post guides on making the preparation, but clearly recommeneding the same dosage and the use of an rebuildable deck atomizer that can do 1ml in 6 hits is a bit silly to say the least. Especially if they manage to take a second hit.

Don't get me wrong, I am a complete noob with dmt with only a few experiences under my belt, But not new to vaping and have been throwing huge clouds for just under a year. However from my research if you managed you take the second hit your likely to be pretty gone and likely unconcius and end up holding the last hit unknowingly.

That equates to 332mg dmt!! Which I guess could be rather unpleasant for some people.

It just so happens if you divide that amount by 6 (the hits until dry wick) you get 55mg per hit

My theorectical new dosage is around 330mg per 1ml of PG. Or can be adjusted slightly to give the same dosage for a vg/pg blend

With one toke being a breakthrough dosage.

Just a thought

It really depends on the device being used and the person using it. I have a 0.15 ohm coil inside a cotton filter and the person using it has considerable asthma. I load 100mg/ml with a hint of vanilla. This seems to be the perfect balance for the application. The first hit is always wasted (coughed up) but then the self regulation begins and there is no more waste. If she's aiming for hyperspace, it always takes a little over a ml but this is not surprising both because of her high tolerance to pretty much everything and the fact that it takes about 10 minutes to inhale enough. When it's my turn, it takes 10-12 good size hits to leave reality which is a bit less than 1/2ml and takes about 5 minutes to consume.

In the beginning, I was put off a bit by the slower delivery but now I prefer it. The more gentle liftoff causes much less anxiety. The trip is much more pleasant, and when reaching hyperspace it's a much less frantic environment. I was thinking about springing for a dripper, but I no longer find any need to speed up delivery. Part of it is that I no longer have this all consuming need to blast into hyperspace every time. It's usually on the table, but often I'm perfectly satisfied waving at the machine elves from a distance.

Hi Syber,

It's refreshing from a noob perspective that not everyone is obsessed with breaking through, I have read many times over (from many) it's not worth doing less than breakthrough dosage.

Yes I completely agree with you saying it can be personalised to suit as needs. I was going to say that it is worth spending a good month or so with your device first, so you know how much .ml it uses for the approximate amount of tokes.

It's great that someone with asthma can also enjoy spice.

I have heard that you can dissolve dmt in shop bout ready flavoured juices. Unfortunately, I don't have enough at present to experiment. I do know however that not all juice is created equal, some juice like the 12 monkeys range is so so smooth to vape I can go through 30mls in a day or two, others are just plain harsh.

I have ordered some more raw material, It is my aim to test a few different concoctions at varying strengths over the next month complete with a full write up of results.

It is clear that many different people prefer different speeds of delivery, I will attempt to address this issue in a comprehensive report (I've finished my ecology course at uni for the year now ;-).

I have a few close friends who vape on similar devices (some are more cloud chasers than others) who wish to try dmt, yet the stigma of using a meth pipe or machine takes the romatism away somewhat. It am pretty sure that I can come up with a bare bones general rule (like the strengths of nicotine recommended for devices that produce different amounts of vapor)

If anyone is reading this thinking what on earth are these guys talking about just search cloud chasing competition on youtube and see the amount of vapor you can actually inhale and imagine the proper application of dmt.

I never chased clouds but I am a fan of efficiency. In a double coil rdta, 7 wraps of 24 ga. @ 4mm with about a gram per 2ml, two hits will send you into the next place. Hold on tight.

Asher thisseems perfect for me at half or 2 thirds potency, what I'm mostly used to. This is all Greek to me, I'm imaging you're talking about buying specific components to make my own. My brother has made a few, if I show him this maybe he'll be able to make sense of it. Thank you

I bought a coil master kit just because time saved + precision = worth the cost. I go with 24 ga. wire since it's a little thicker, it doesnt melt at high wattage as easily and it's easier to work with. I use the 4 mm "bit" so you can get more cotton through the middle which means more juice is in the hot spot and you get more vapor. 7 wraps gets me to a pretty consistant .35 ohms, which I consider good. The rdta I use you can put up to 4 coils in but I just stick with two, four is getting into over kill territory, two work just fine.

Play around, see what works for you. There are all manner of builds you can apply, all have their pros and cons, it's really just a preferrence thing.

When I'm vaping nic juice I usually keep it at 50 watts. For the other application, it's better to turn it down to 30 and take long drawn out draws so nothing gets burnt. Slow and steady wins the race on that one.

Think of it like tuning an aquarium, there's all manner of approaches to reach the universal end goal. Play around. You'll know when you hit a homerun. 8)
