I had my jar going and decided to throw in 50 more grams of mhrb... my problem is that there is now root bark in the naphtha that I cant get out! I mixed it with no avail. What should I do??

Shouldn't really make a difference. The DMT will still come out of that 50g. Leave it alone and most of it should settle. Do everything the same. At the end freeze precipitate it, then wash it. It will be fine.

I wasnt gonna even do a third pull but then I decided to throw 50MHRB in there and some got caught in the naphtha. Its all cloudy. I will get DMT with roobbark

So you threw another 50gr bark in with the based soup while you had naptha in there? Did you do any pulls?

Id say add more lye man, get more lye.

yea at the last pull, I decided to throw the last of the 50grams. when I poured it in, some stayed in the naohtha. could rock sea salt or something other than lye work?

What salt does = POLARIZES WATER

what you need to be doing = basifying the shit out of the non based bark that is stuck in your naptha layer.

what salt wont do = that exact thing.

If you dont have lye you could always try sodium carbonate.. just make sure ph is high enough..12-14

It seems some of these last 50 g did not get in touch with the basified aqueous solution. If the aqueous solution is basified enough (do you have some pH paper by any chance?) you may try the following:
a) Stir vigorously your jar so your naphta is completely mixed with the aqueous solution then let it sit for a while. See what happens to the mhrb trapped in naphta. It should settle down.
b) Evaporate your naphta completely with a fan, stir your aqueous solution and pull with fresh naphta.

If your aqueous solution is not basified enough (for an STB pH~13), then additional lye is your only hope.
