Crystals on Aqueous Layer

Hello,

I was wondering what this might mean?

About two weeks back I did an extraction.

By my own absent-mindedness I left the aqueous solution in a
secure location and did not drain it out.

I wish I had pictures but I went back to the solution today
and noticed a thin layer of NPS and sitting directly on/above
the aqueous layer were many nicely formed crystals.

Any advise on what to do? Does this mean spice is still
in this solution and would it be advisable to possibly
pull from this solution again or is that a bad idea
since it's been sitting around for weeks?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!

This is why I wished I had pictures.

The crystals look to be literally embedded at the top of the layer.
The mouth of the bottle I used would make this extremely difficult
and even if I could fit something in there to lift those crystals
off that layer it would more than likely be akin to surgery; I would literally
remove so much more aqueous layer that it would not be worth the extraction
of those crystals. They aren't magnificent, they are just tiny - but
nicely formed spread about across the top, seemingly embedded at the
top of the nasty layer.

I am wondering about he solution itself. Is the solution itself
not fair game considering a couple weeks have gone by?

No harm in making another pull if you think theres more in there. 2 weeks isnt a problem people have pulled from months old basic sludge before, add a load of salt and see what you pull with more NP.

Thanks again.

Should I add the same amount of salt as before? Or less do you think?
I did use Cyb's Max Ion.

No dont add any more you didnt say you had used cybs tek.
Just put it in a heat bath with the solvent warmed too. If you can carefully add NP and stir that top layer into the NP all the better.

^^This.

Awesome,

thanks for the help guys! Yielded some more spice goodness!

Voyaj, this happened to your jar because the saturated solvent atop your basic tea had gradually cooled to room temperature and even lower as ambient room temperature will decrease during winter. Causing beautiful clean shardy crystals that if removed llook like they may cut you just by looking at them. :P But to fix this just heat it back up, you may need to add a little more nps. It will reabsorb into the nps when heated.
