Cyb Salt Tek Total Volume question

So, SWIM recently performed his first extraction using Cyb Hybrid Salt Tek. I must say, it went swimmingly! He got a 1.2% yield of completely pure white crystal with absolutely no heat baths used.

Now, I have been reading up on proper containers and i've learned that borosilicate isn't actually the best for lye as it could potentially etch and shatter. I've learned in my research that PP5 polypropylene and HDPE high-density polyethylene are the two best options as for use with lye as well as naphtha. After a lot of searching, I happened across an extremely perfect PP5 volumetric flask with PP5 stopper or screw cap. This thing is the bomb, it has a bulb at the bottom but then goes into an extremely slim cylinder for most of the top which will make decanting very easy.

My question is this. In the tek, it calls for topping up the lye mixture with 140 extra ml of water to bring the total mixture to 700ml. In my ultra-flask, I don't think 700ml will quite bring his mixture up to the easy-decanting zone of the cylinder. So i'm wondering if he can simply just add more water until he has it within the decanting zone, or would that require him to change the percentages of lye, salt, vinegar? What if he leaves it at 700ml for the duration of the soaking period and only add more water once hes ready to decant? We're talking about adding maybe 150-200ml more water max.
