Cybs Salt tek question

Very new to the field.
Question is, after a great 1st pull. The second was weak. After adding the naptha the second time, noticed the amount of clear fluid on top wasnt as much as first.
(Ph tester on the way)
Can more lye be added to the jar after only one or two pulls? Or could it just be a sign of weak bark?

The subsequent pulls have much less alkaloids in it. The first one can be something like 80%, second 15%, third 5% ... usually no more then four pulls are necessary. Temperature, solvent used and pH play a role too.

There is no need in adding more lye. Once the tea is around pH 12, virtually all of the alkaloids are in free base form.
 
Wow, thats a very dramatic drop per pull. Good to know.
After reading multiple sources say one can get at least five pulls per amount of bark..
Would you be able to say if thete is any diff between cybs salt and ion tek?
What about q21q21? That was the first procedure recommend until Cybs came into view.

When I did the Cybs I did six or seven pulls. Also my first pull has never been as big as my second and third, yield tapers down around pulls four and five. By the seventh there were only a couple yellow crystals and I stopped. I've heard great things about both teks but haven't done a q21. And yes also i did notice that naphtha decreases a little with each pull, when it got noticeable i topped up. Good luck!
