Hello fine people, long time reader of the Nexus here- always surprised and excited to see the psychedelic conversation evolving through the contributions of curious and intelligent people. Especially interested in what members have to say about Cymatics, Nassim Haramein's work, molecular physics, psychedelic research, breathing and meditation practices, linguistics, and the relationship of sound to the psychedelic experience. I know a little about many different subjects, and a lot about a few subjects, but my real strength is in making connections, whether it be among concepts, fields of research, or different aspects of the psychedelic experience. The Nexus and it's people have always been such a great way to expand my knowledge and satisfy an apparently relentless curiosity- looking forward to getting in deep!

best regards,

Benjamin James

Hello Benjamin_James,

Welcome to the Nexus. It's always nice when a long-term lurker decides to sign up for membership, :D.

Nexus is full of creativity and interests and opinions. I'm sure you will have fun making connections here.

I liked your term "relentless curiosity" and definitely have felt that myself throughout my life.

So, do you personally have much psychedelic experience? Have you tried DMT yet? If so, have you had a chance to extract your own?

Looking forward to getting to know you better. And again, welcome, :).

Pandora,

Thanks for the reply, and yes, I have had several experiences with psilocybin and 2 sub-breakthrough experiences with DMT, and will be traveling to Iquitos in February to partake in the Aya ceremonies. Each experience has been massively profound both intellectually and spiritually. The first time I saw the physical world morph into a combination of an MC Escher tessellation and an ocean of spinning fractals, I understood that the world was made of music- and that there is a recombinant symphony of infinite variety that wants us to pick up and play along with a little more gusto! To know that there is so much that exists behind the curtains of our ordinary world has given me a new energy and fervor for life. Feels good to be a pioneer!
